The Data-Collaborative on Health Systems Performance (DC-HSP): Towards Better Healthcare For Cardiovascular Diseases

Description

Abstract:
The Harvard University Health Systems Innovation Lab (HSIL) is a global research and training lab for healthcare innovation. HSIL established the Data Collaborative on Health Systems Performance (DC-HSP) to leverage inaccessible health systems data for improving cardiovascular health through research and policy innovation. DC-HSP's two phases are Phase I (Sept 2022—Dec 2023), focusing on data set development, DC-HSP establishment, and research planning, and Phase II (2023-2024), which uses Phase I outputs for performance studies, analytics, training, and visualizations to engage policymakers and enhance health systems and cardiovascular outcomes. HSIL collaborates with partners like the Novartis Foundation, Microsoft, and Accenture.
