The death of "Stonewall" Jackson:
General Thomas Jonathan Jackson, born in Clarksburg, Harrison County, Va. Jany. 21st 1824. Wounded in both arms at Chancellorsville, Va. by the fire of a South Carolina Regiment who mistook his escort for Federal Cavalry; his left arm was amputated the same evening and he died at Guinea's station, on the Richmond and Fredericksburg Rail Road, May 10th, 1863
