Geographic Emphases
Here you will find digitized materials that reflect the international scope of Brown University Library's collections. Current geographical strengths in the collections of the John Hay are Western Europe, North America, and Latin America, while the collections also contain important material from East Asia, South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Future collecting will focus on transnational movements and material created within the Global South or its diaspora.
