Principles and Methods of Geographic Information Systems
This collection contains final projects created in Brown's Principles and Methods of Geographic Information Systems. Soc1340 is an introduction to the fundamental principles and methods of geographic information systems (GIS). Topics include (a) handling different types of geographic datasets, (b) geo-analytical and modeling tools in GIS, (c) conceptual and theoretical aspects of GIS application development, and (d) errors and uncertainty analysis of GIS applications.
