AFL-CIO will give Chavez $1.6 million to fight Teamsters

Abstract:
ALF-CIO pledges cash and manpower to support Cesar Chaves and the UFW grape strike. Teamsters recently signed contracts with previously UFW unionized growers, without allowing for workers to vote on the change.
