- Coachella Valley Unified School District Superintendent Bobby Duke announced that they are seeking revocation of teaching credentials of six teachers involved in dispute: Roman Koenig, Yolanda Almaraz, Socorro Quintero, Charles Marquez, Don Cochran and Jane Coffey. Coffey has take a leave of absense and the other teachers have been assigned non-teaching positions in the district office. The State Department of Education will conduct an investigation to determine whether or not their credentials will be revoked. Mentions protest by Community Committee for Alternatives in Education (CCAE), and their charges of abuse by Cochran and Coffey.
