- Picketers demonstrated non-violently in front of the home of Bobby G. Duke, the superintendent of the Coachella Valley Unified School District. The Community Committee for Alternatives in Education (CCAE) is seeking the dismissal of Don Cochran and Jane Coffey, charging them with child abuse, while four teachers (Koenig, Marquez, Almaraz and Quintero) may lose their teaching credentials for their participation in the Committee.
