Photograph of Bobby Duke Elementary School, in Coachella, California, part of the Coachella Valley Unified School District. Formerly named Dateland Middle School. The site of 1976 school walkouts organized by the Community Committee for Alternatives in Education (CCAE) protesting the mistreatment of Mexican-American students.
