- An interview with Howard Schmidt, cybersecurity coordinator at the U.S. White House, is presented. He believes international cooperation has a major role to play in cybersecurity, then explains the two broad categories where people interact internationally. He also thinks the phrase cyberwar is overused, claiming a denial-of-service-attack or the like is not a cyberwar. Schmidt explains the National Cyber Instant Response Plan (NCIRP) coordinated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
