Abstract:
An interview with George Papandreou, former prime minister of Greece and the country's minister for foreign affairs from 1999 to 2004. When asked about his opinion on the rise of extremism in countries like Greece, Papandreou mentions that political extremism is usually linked with economic crisis. Papandreou discusses the effects of political extremism on the democracy and democratic processes in Europe. The former prime minister also cites solutions on the economic crises in Greece.
