Description
- Abstract:
- As part of Ithaka S+R’s research and support services program, twenty-six universities in the U.K. and the U.S., including Brown, investigated current practices in primary source-based instruction and interest among instructors at all career levels, in a variety of fields, to use primary source-based instruction. This report explores how Brown faculty currently utilize Brown University Library resources in their primary source pedagogy, how this approach has been working, and what kinds of challenges have arisen. The authors propose a plan for the Library with the goal of enhancing resources and training dedicated to primary source pedagogy.
