Abstract:
This is an interview of Harold Fontes, a Cape Verdean from Providence, Rhode Island. Harold, 76, was born in Fox Point and lived in the neighborhood until 1960. He worked as a longshoreman and is currently retired. He now volunteers at Sheldon Street Church, the church he has attended since childhood.
