- On March 13, 2008 John Moura was interviewed at his house in East Providence, Rhode Island. Moura, who is 89 years old was born, raised, and lived most of his adult life in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence. In the interview he recalls growing up in a three-decker house on John Street with his family and extended family, including grandparents and aunts. He discusses going to school, different jobs he held throughout his lifetime, including a grocery store, and working as a trolley car and bus drive for the city of Providence. He was also married and raised 4 children in the Fox Point neighborhood.
