Description

Abstract:
Sophie Souza's father is an American of Portuguese descent and her mother an ethnic German born in Yugoslavia. Sophie was born in Fox Point and moved with her parents to North Providence when she was twelve years old. Although she now lives in New Hampshire, she still feels a strong connection to her Portuguese heritage and enjoys studying genealogy and attending the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament, a Portuguese festival.
