Place of publication from content; year of publication suggested by Medina and accepted by Vargas Ugarte. According to Medina, the copy he saw in the Biblioteca del Seminario de Lima "[fue] enviado al Rey con carta del Marqués de Montesclaros, suscripta en el Callao, á 11 de Marzo de 1616." In this regard, it is important to note that the second person to be appointed to the see of Trujillo but the first to actually occupy it, Francisco de Cabrera, arrived in Trujillo on 3 March 1616, and that the new diocese was erected on 14 Oct. of that year.
