Not the same as the "Carta que / escribio el Dean, y Cabildo / de la Metropoli / de Lima, al Rey nuestro señor / en su Real Consejo de Indias" described by Vargas Ugarte. The John Carter Brown Library copy, however, is the same as that described by Medina: "Carta que escri: / vio el Dean, y Cabildo / de la Metropoli de Lima, al Rey / nuestro seor en su Real Consejo de Indias." Two variant, if not two different, printings of this work appear to exist therefore.
