- Deported back to France by Sonthonax, Blanchelande, former governor of the French colony of Saint-Domingue, defended himself against charges of inciting the revolt in Saint-Domingue and that he authorized detentions and deportations. Blanchelande was convicted, pronounced guilty by the Tribunal on April 11, 1793 and guillotined the same day.
