- Koetting explains that this nagila song, the third of a set recorded on reel tape 100 of this collection, was repeated by the group at the chief's palace in the northern Ghanaian town of Mayoro. Although a good deal of Kasena music is composed and performed for chiefs in the north, there is relatively little occasion for the performance and patronage of such music in Accra.
