- Is sending catalogue of books he sent to the College Library; the University of Cambridge has given a prize medal for the best piece against the African slave trade; wishes that Rhode Island College would do the same, but is aware that a few members of the Corporation would not be in favor; he would support this project himself, if only his brother were "clear of the Evil, or disposed to rid himself of it."
