- Abstract:
- A view of Napoleon III with his French army at the Battle of Solferino in 1859. He is pointing to the Austrian army under Franz Joseph, ordering his army to take up their bayonets and roll over the Austrians. Although a costly battle in terms of lives lost, the Allied forces prevailed.
