Abstract:
Interview with Elissa Lynne Beron Arons, recorded May 18th 1992, in West Newton, MA. In this segment of the interview she discusses her enthusiasm for college life after she entered Pembroke following her Junior year of high school; the social expectations of the time and how they began to change; her experience applying to medical schools as one of the few female pre-med students; growing awareness of the Civil Rights movement; the creation of the Pembroke Pandas, the first college womens ice hockey team; and Posture Pictures.
