- Abstract:
- Hand-colored etched caricature (by and after Gillray), published March 25th, 1791; General Gunning, dressed as an old gypsy women but in uniform coat, sitting at table and sealing letters, facing his daughter, Miss Gunning who holds a pack of playing cards to her lips, the Devil rising up through floor, 2 women working and plotting at hearthside at right including Mrs. Gunning.
