Abstract:
One of a collection of 12 (of ?) hand colored engraved plates of uniform figures, outdoors, each with title printed in Italian, listed as being numbers 10-19, 21, 22 in collection described in de Ridder 15; also 1 additional plate so similar as maybe to belong in series, being Nouvel Uniforme du Premier Lieutenant Autrichien. Soldier standing at attention with rifle, tents in left distance.
Notes:
Upright small folio, unbound, slight foxing; in red cloth slipcase, white leather label stamped gold "Austrian Troops in Italy, ca. 1770."
