- Abstract:
- From collection of etchings by and after Zauerveid (Sauerweid) in 1 set of 14 unnumbered plates and 1 set of 12 numbered (1-6,10,12-16); military and campaign scenes showing French, Russian, Saxon, Austrian and Brunswick troops. In numbered series, numbers 1,2,3,6, and also 3 in unnumbered set, are identical with series of color aquatint plates of Saxon troops signed by Edward Hull. 2 mounted lancers in conversation with 2 dismounted cavalrymen lounging in shade of tree, 2 smaller mounted figures in left background.

- Oblong, unbound; margins intact; clean, in maroon slipcase, red leather label stamped gold "A. Sauerweid & L. Beyer, Militär-Gruppen, 1813-1815".
