Description
- Abstract:
- A sound-collage combining excerpts from oral history interviews with Elizabeth Camp, Ana Quezada, David Kennedy, Tall Oak Weeden, Phil Edmonds, Al Campbell, Dave Talan, Bill Simmons, Amelia Rose, and Wilbur Jennings. The collage was created as part of the temporary exhibit, "Reservoir of Memories" in December 2011. The recording focuses on the interviewees' memories of childhood play and sports at Mashapaug Pond; the pond's presence in their daily lives today; its deterioration over time as a result of toxic waste and illegal dumping; and their hopes for its future clean-up and restoration.
