- From collection of 98 original unsigned watercolors by l'Allemand; 2 standing figures of artillerymen, holding cannon fuses, 1st in royal blue uniform with scarlet trim, 2nd in navy blue coat, white stockings. Pencilled descriptive notes (some illegible) at bottom and on verso.

- Upright folio, unbound; margins; mostly clean, some slightly soiled or darkened; in red slipcase, white label st. gold "L'Allemand - Austrian uniforms 1600-1840 - original watercolors".
