Abstract:: O projecto de livro-filme Cartas Telepáticas, que tem como protagonistas Fernando Pessoa e Howard Philips Lovecraft, materializa-se pela primeira vez neste contributo criativo. As ligações que é possível estabelecer entre ambos os escritores permitem imaginar estas Cartas, nas quais o autor, Edgar Pêra, faz dialogar Pessoa e Lovecraft, e ainda muitos dos múltiplos autores fictícios que criaram. Pêra pergunta-se: “O que seria do pensamento de Pessoa e Lovecraft se tivessem trocado essa correspondência imaginária?” A resposta encontra-se nas próprias missivas e nas imagens intercaladas.; The book-film project Telepathic Letters, which stars Fernando Pessoa and Howard Philips Lovecraft, materializes for the first time in this creative contribution. The connections that can be established between both writers allow us to imagine these Letters, in which the author, Edgar Pêra, makes Pessoa and Lovecraft dialogue, as well as many of the multiple fictional authors they created. Pêra asks himself: “What would become of Pessoa and Lovecraft’s thoughts if they had exchanged this imaginary correspondence?” The answer is found in the missives themselves and in the interspersed images.
