- Abstract:
- Alyssa discusses her connection to the pond, Urban Pond Procession, her work in raising awareness about the pond as a science teacher at Sophia Academy and the role of students and young people in the movement to save Mashapaug. She talks about the changes she has seen in students' understanding and awareness of the pond, as well as building/become aware of connections to the pond. She ends by discussing her hopes for the future of the pond.
