- In this interview, Cole discusses his childhood on Adelaide Avenue and his memories of Mashapaug Pond. Mr. Cole describes playing sports in the neighborhood, discusses the relationship between his neighborhood and the Gorham site, and assesses the changing demographic and commercial character of South Elmwood more broadly. Mr. Cole’s interview includes an interesting digression on the Blizzard of ’78 and the impact of global climate change on winters in Rhode Island.
