- Abstract:
- This interview discusses Simmons' experience growing up in the area that is now the industrial park and his family history. He discusses various cultural aspects of living by the pond - games, baptisms, and so on. As a 90 year old, he also discusses the differences in the different areas of the city that he has lived in. He discusses the changes in the area and what it was like to live there from the 1910s to 1930s. The interview is divided into two parts, both recorded at the same session. The transcript includes both parts.
