Abstract:
Cragin discusses his time as a designer at Gorham, creating specialty items and flatware, dynamics of the studio, working with women, traveling for work, the process of making a silver piece. He shows some of his sketches and connects them to his work at Gorham. He also shows some Gorham silver flatware. Some of Cragin's designs and drawings are scanned and added to the end of the transcript.
