Description
- Abstract:
- A photograph of a fountain in Trafalgar Square, London, England. Trafalgar Square, completed in 1845, commemorates England's victory in the Battle of Trafalgar (1805). Appropriately, the central feature of the square is Nelson's Column, a monument to Lord Nelson's key role in the victory. The fountains that circle Nelson's Column were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1939.
