- David Cabral was born to Fox Pointers who encouraged a highly Americanized upbringing. Nevertheless, David developed a keen sense of his Portuguese identity in recent years by learning the language, enjoying the food and participating in cultural events. He was the first member of his family to attend college and today he is a professor of Theater and Custume Design at Providence College. He discusses events of his childhood and community institutions that were important to him, especially Holy Rosary Church.
