Abstract:: Winston Lima, born in 1941, spent the first seventeen years of his life in Fox Point. Following three years in the 82nd Airborne Division he returned to Fox Point where he resided until he met his wife and moved to a veterans' housing project. He reflects on his time spent at the Fox Point Boys Club and the value it had on his upbringing. He also speaks on race and segregation in the military, in Fox Point, and during the time he was employed by Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing and Naragansett Electric Company. He remains active in the Boys Club Alumni Association.
