- Oral history interview with Lori Green about The Castro Café, the first explicitly gay/lesbian/queer space in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence, RI, which was co-owned and operated by Green.

- Lori Green was born in Staten Island, New York and raised in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She attended Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts before receiving her BA from Rhode Island College. She was the co-owner/operator of The Castro Caf at 77 Ives Street from 1998 to 2001. In this interview, Ms. Green discusses how and why she came to open The Castro (the first explicitly gay/lesbian/queer space in Fox Point), her experiences operating the caf/restaurant, as well as the spaces premature closing.
