Abstract:
Picture of the social hall at the White Roe Lake Hotel in Livingston Manor, NY. Caption on the back reads: The White Roe, owned by Meyer Weiner, is generally regarded as the most beautiful spot in this region. A private, natural lake three-quarters of a mile long with an immense swimming crib; six fast hard-pan tennis courts, golfing, three handball courts, a ball diamond and other sports facilities. Three thousand young men and women spend their vacations here every summer.
