- This document is a schedule of National Consultation on Rehabilitation Policy held on 28th and 29th December 2004 at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. The key issues discussed during the consultation were - 1. Indigenous People and forest evictions 2. Urban displacement 3. Women 4. Landless and Landed affected/displaced: a) Non-land based rehabilitation b) land for land 5. Benefit sharing 6. Issues related to land acquisition —a) direct sale b) displacement as a result of acquisition by private parties 7. Community and natural resources
