Abstract:
Poem mentions politics and recent election, then praises "Old Dan" and "Erin's Liberators."
Notes:
Printed on blue paper in two columns divided by curvilinear line within architectural border of type ornament sections containing vignettes of hand printing-presses, birds, an urn, and female figures (Justice and Liberty?) with an eagle and shield and a scroll inscribed: Excelsior.
Inside lower border: 1845.
Brown University copy trimmed so that original dimensions are not known.
Printed area measures: 32.3 x 20.3 cm.
Poem in 12 eight-line stanzas.
