- George Nichols Hollins was an American naval officer who served from the War of 1812 to the end of the Civil War.
- Commodore George Nichols Hollins was born in Baltimore on September 20, 1799. His active career spanned the years from the War of 1812, in which he served under Decatur, to the end of the Civil War, in which he fought for the Confederacy.
