Translation of: Det gamle Grønlands nye perlustration, eller Naturel-historie, og beskrivelse over det gamle Grønlands situation, luft, temperament og bestaffenhed, first printed in an enlarged edition Copenhagen, 1741, but which first appeared in a pirated edition in Copenhagen, 1729.
A Greenlandic song, composed by Frederick Christian, p. 119-124, is without music and gives a description of the performance.
"De la langue des Gröenlandois", p. 124-135, gives a small glossary of Kalâtdlisut dialect words as well as a discussion of grammar; the three articles of faith and the Lord's prayer are also translated into the Greenlandic language.
