Except for the introduction, relates only to America.
A translation of "Histoire universelle des voyages faits par mer et par terre dans l'ancienne & dans le nouveau monde," by Jean Baptiste Morvan, l'abbé de Bellegarde. The author's name does not appear on the title page of the 1st edition, while the dedication in that edition, as in this one, is signed 'Du Perier.' Hence the work is sometimes ascribed to Du Perier de Montfrasier. Cf. Cioranescu.
