Except for the first two plates and the six plates (1 each at the beginning of a book), the other 56 plates apparently printed on 7 sheets, signed A-B, D-G on the letterpress side of the first leaf; the third sheet, comprising plates [20-22] and [24-28] has no letterpress text and hence lacks the signature "C". (Plates [4-11] form sheet A; plates [12-19], B; plates [29-36], D; plates [37-43] and [45], E; plates [46-53], F; and plates [55-62], G). An index to these 56 plates is provided on p. 1354-1356.
