- Close to Abbasid style D.II (c.f. Deroche "The Abbasid Tradition"; Khalili cat. 24 accession #QUR372). 7 lines. Text box dimensions 10.2 x 16.5 cm.; border dimensions 14.0 x 20.1 cm.
- Some loss around upper right corner and edges. Loss of parchment within text in areas of greater ink density. Some discoloration along top. Verso flaking, less legible than recto.
- Black ink with red and green diacritical marks. Gilded inner border surrounding text box composed of red, green and black ink. Gilded floral motif with decorative red and blue dots around inner frame. Outer frame of green and black ink. Handwritten note in black ink (possibly numbers) below lower left border.
