Notes:: Close to Abbasid style D.II (c.f. Deroche "The Abbasid Tradition"; Khalili cat. 24 accession #QUR372). 7 lines. Text box dimensions 11.7 x 17.3 cm.; border dimensions 13.3 x 21.0 cm.; Parchment. Verso very faded, reinforced with paper along left edge. Shows signs of water damage. Edges are irregular, some loss around top left corner of recto. Ink flaking widely on verso, some loss in areas of greatest ink density on recto.; Black ink with red and green diacritical marks. Gilded inner border surrounding text box composed of red, green and black ink. Gilded floral motif with decorative red and blue dots around inner frame. Outer frame of green and black ink. "OO" written in black ink below border on left side of verso.
