- Alexander The Great meets the Queen of the Amazons in this scene from Lord Dunsany's "Alexander", being presented in its American premiere October 28, 29 and 30 by Sock and Buskin, The Brown University dramatic society. Alexander is played by Daniel Gerald Donovan, '51, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Donovan, New Rochelle, New York, and the Queen's part is taken by Nancy Welch, '51, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Welch of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
