- Notes:
- Most resembles jalīl al-tawqī‘ style of script after Ibn al-Bawwab (d. 1031); one of the "Six Classic Hands." (c.f. Safwat "The Art of the Pen"; p. 231). Five lines. Text box dimensions measure 19.8 x 14.4 cm.
- Paper in good condition overall. Some loss due to insect damage, especially along spine; evidence of attempts to repair spine with strips of paper. Some spots of discoloration, possibly acid damage from illumination on neighboring pages.
- Black ink on tan paper with black diacritical marks. Gilded red and green floral verse markers present. "734" appears in pencil on recto.
