Notes:: Most resembles jalīl al-tawqī‘ style of script after Ibn al-Bawwab (d. 1031); one of the "Six Classic Hands." (c.f. Safwat "The Art of the Pen"; p. 231). Five lines. Text box dimensions measure 20.4 x 14.2 cm.; Paper in poor condition overall. Spots of discoloration. Evidence of attempts to repair spine edge with strips of paper. Some insect damage.; Black ink on tan paper with black diacritical marks. Gilded red and green floral verse markers present. Extra marginal gilded, blue and red illumination appears on recto. "734" appears in pencil on verso and "S.6, v. 73-105" appears on recto.
