Portrait of Abraham Lincoln

Description

Abstract:
An engraved reproduction of Gardner's portrait of Lincoln that he took while working at Brady's gallery in Washington, DC in 1861. The caption, which states that the photograph was taken by Brady, is technically incorrect. The base of a column visible on the left side of the original photograph has been cropped in this reproduction.
