Description

Abstract:
Both sides of a print with an image of Abraham Lincoln, created by B.A. Temple. In the image, Jesus Christ, holding a bright lantern, stands near Lincoln, illustrating Christ's quote from the Bible's gospel of John: "I am the light of the world." The back includes part of a handwritten note that reads "...the wall charts 'our fallen heroes' and 'National Republican Chart, 1860' that I saw in September and that you had Mr. Chew mount and send soon after."
