Abstract:: Rubbing from the electrotype plate for "I Am the Light of the World," created by B.A. Temple. In the image, Jesus Christ, holding a bright lantern, stands near Lincoln, illustrating Christ's quote from the Bible's gospel of John: "I am the light of the world."
